Travelling to Singapore

Travellers entering Singapore can do so with a Safe Travel Lane arrangement. Each traveler’s Safe Travel Lane arrangement would depend one his/her travel profile and history, and determine the corresponding entry requirements and health controls he/she would need to take.

Singapore has implemented special travel arrangements with the following countries/ regions to facilitate travel while safeguarding public health:

Air Travel Pass (ATP)

For short-term visitors from these countries/territories

Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)

For travellers who have been fully vaccinated in their VTL country/region of departure or Singapore and any accompanying unvaccinated children below 12 years old.

The Vaccinated Travel Lane (Air) [VTL (Air)] allows quarantine-free travel to Singapore via air.

Reciprocal Green Lane

For short-term visitors from these countries/territories

The following measures are applicable for VTL (Air) travelers entering Singapore from 23 January 2022, 2359hrs (SGT):

1.All travelers will only be required to undergo daily unsupervised self-administered ARTs from Day 2 to Day 7 of their arrival if they need to leave their place of accommodation, in addition to fulfilling pre-departure and on-arrival testing requirements.

2.Those who test positive on the unsupervised self-administered ARTs no longer need to undergo a confirmatory PCR test but should instead abide by the relevant COVID-19 recovery protocol.

3. Fully vaccinated recovered travelers may qualify for exemption from COVID-19 tests. Please refer to this page for more information.

Travel Process
Subject to delegates’ eligibility to enter Singapore, delegates can expect the travel process to be generally as follows:

  1. Obtain an acceptable proof of vaccination
  2. Submit applications for Air Travel Pass or Vaccinated Travel Pass (Air)
  3. Submit applications for Visa (if applicable)
  4. Secure tickets for a designated VTL flight
  5. Purchase mandatory COVID-19 travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000
  6. Secure self-isolation accommodation serve out isolation period for 1–2 days while waiting for PCR test result upon arrival in Singapore.
  7. Take a pre-departure COVID-19 PCR test within 2 days* before departure
  8. Submit an SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with their pre-trip health and travel history declaration, within 3 days before arriving in Singapore
  9. Register and pre-pay for your on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test
  10. Download and register profile on the TraceTogether app to aid contact tracing while in Singapore
  11. Take on-arrival PCR test
  12. Commute directly to their declared self-isolation accommodation
  13. Serve out self-isolation period in (6)
  14. After a negative result of the COVID-19 test taken on arrival in Singapore is conveyed, welcome to Singapore!
